WHERE THE NATIONS MEET
YWAM Cancun is located in the Mexican State of Quintana Roo. It is in the southeast part of Mexico in what is known as the Yucatan Peninsula. It is located along the coast of the Caribbean Sea and known for its crystal clear blue waters and white sandy beaches. Cancun is a relatively new city only dating back to 1970. It was established as a tourist destination and continues to exist solely for that purpose. The city quickly grew into an internationally know destination, and as a result the growth brought in habitants from all over Mexico, creating a very unique yet diverse culture compared to many other cities in Mexico. The population for the city and its surrounding developments were surveyed at over 1.5 million people. Cancun continues to grow as it is known as a place of opportunities, where many nationals and internationals come seeking a better life.
